Brent Williams has spent his entire post-military career studying and investing in the investment industry. After leaving the Navy he obtained his degrees in Finance and Banking, Economics, and International Business from Appalachian State University, Brent began his career as an Investment Advisor Representative, gaining sales and market experience.
During his time in the wealth management industry, he managed a book of assets of over $20 million. Brent transitioned his career to trading S&P mini futures contracts at the Chicago Board of Trade. He rose to trade manager for both the automated and discretionary desk and eventually a broker.
Throughout his career, Brent has earned six FINRA Series Certifications – Series 3, 6, 7, 34, 63, and 65 – and will continue to utilize his experience to further expand Highwater Financial in 2018.
Marc Adesso advises issuers, underwriters, hedge funds and other market participants in a full range of capital markets transactions. He also counsels companies, boards and their committees, investors and financial institutions on SEC regulatory and corporate governance issues, including compliance with securities exchanges.
Marc counsels clients on the rapidly changing landscape regarding legalized cannabis in matters ranging from capital raising (including numerous IPOs for cannabis companies), international transactions, fund investments to challenges with the banking system.
Marc is recognized for his work on securities regulation and corporate governance, and has also established a national practice counseling issuers conducting mini-IPOs under Regulation A+ of the JOBS Act, which allows smaller privately held companies to raise up to $50 million per year by selling shares to the general public.
Ray French is the founder of Ray French Consulting. He is an experienced Horticulturalist possessing an in-depth knowledge of production techniques and facility construction and management. He has worked with and consulted for some of the largest operations in the world both in Cannabis and in Horticulture in general. He has a proven history of quality production, new product development, and market sales with over 25 years of large scale industry experience.
For the past 12 years Ray served as Product Director/Grower and Technical Support for The Home Depot where he was the liaison to manage plant selections from the breeder to the market, advising on production techniques, and coordinating the product flow of over a billion dollars in sales. Prior to that he has managed some of the most prominent operations in the country.
Ray is the author of the book “From Seed to Smoke” written with a focus on tobacco that also has become a growers guide and gained notoriety on sustainability and organic production methods.
